Hard gates before scoring
A machine cannot score its way past an unsupported application, material, electrical requirement, required feature, verified capability, or hard budget limit.
Useful failure state
When no current machine meets every hard requirement, the Finder will return no match and identify the requirement gap instead of forcing a recommendation.
